Natural Weight Loss

Don't go on a diet. Change the way you live, one step at a time. You don't have to do all these things at once. You can incorporate the following list into your way of life as you see fit. Some of these need to become habit; and it usually takes six weeks of consistency to form a habit.

  1. Get into the habit of drinking a cup of green tea every morning. Green tea needs to be steeped with the top covered. Follow the directions on the label. Studies show green tea to have potent fat-burning properties. Use honey or stevia herb to sweeten. Eat fresh fruit every morning for energy and to cleanse the digestive tract.

  2. Walk or get regular exercise every day. Then, if approved by your doctor, start aerobics in the form of sprints. In order to keep your metabolism from slowing down after you loose weight do muscle building exercises at least three days a week. The most effective muscle building exercises are done with free weights or weight machines. Resistance exercises that are performed against an stationary object are also effective. Anerobic exercises, (exercise just enough to make you slightly out of breath) burns calories thirty-four times as fast as doing aerobic exercises.

  3. Use honey or stevia as a sweetener. Do not use artificial sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners cause weight gain because they stimulate the secretion of insulin, encouraging the deposit of fatty acids into fat cells.

  4. Drink 1 cup of Maté tea daily to stimulate the central system, which will increase calorie burning.

  5. Take 15 drops of ephedra tincture in a 1/4 cup of water 3 times a day on an empty stomach to promote loss of fat without loss of muscle. Ephedra tincture can also be called ma huang. Do not take ephedra if you have glaucoma, anxiety, heart disease, high blood pressure, insomnia, or prostate disease, or with a mao inhibitor or antidepressants. Drink 8 glasses of water daily while taking this herb.

  6. Eat fruit and vegetables and good foods with lots of fiber. Concentrate on eating more foods that are minimally processed that do not require cooking. Cut out all hydrogenated oils and refined sugar. Use cold pressed olive oil instead. Read your labels. Many foods purchased at the grocery store contain hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.

  7. You can also drink Aloe Vera juice as directed on the label in order to improve digestion and clean the digestive tract.
